What to do When Your Client Won’t Pay

Fuck you - pay me!

So, you’re in a position where you did the work, and your client told you they won’t pay. What should you do then?

The reason why, doesn’t really matter, but is it the end of story?

If you have signed a contract with your client before you began working, this would be a perfect time to remind them of their obligations, or ask your lawyer to solve this for you.

If you don’t have a contract… well that’s a different kind of story. This would be a good time to find a lawyer which will help you with the current case (if possible). More importantly, you should set basic guidelines for all your future jobs so you don’t go into a next adventure without making sure you will get paid.
